Sunset Cinema is the theater aboard MCAS Yuma, showing the latest and greatest movies as well as fun classics on the silver screen. Enjoy a full concession stand during movie showings, with your favorites including freshly popped popcorn, candy, drinks, and more! 

We are currently open Friday-Sunday with various showings throughout the day, and offer a loyalty program for moviegoers. We are located across from the Commissary on the corner of Narr Ave. and Quilter St.

THEATER RULES

• Must be an authorized patron with a valid ID.
• MUST wear a facial covering at all times if you are not 100% vaccinated from COVID-19 (per the CO of MCAS Yuma) and except when consuming food and beverages. 
• Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for G, and PG rated movies
• No outside food is permitted in the theater
• No recording devices permitted
• Large bags may be subject to search
  
  Your safety is our priority. Please take a moment to review our current safety policies:
• Maximum of 100 patrons per movie
• Hand sanitizing station located at the entrance
• Facial coverings are required, except when consuming food and beverages
• Seating is designed to allow for social distancing, 3 seat distance per party
• Cleaning after every screening

Kid-Approved Programs

Here at Sunset Cinema, we like to have fun whether that's by celebrating your child's birthday, watching FREE movies during school breaks, or for a school field trip. We pride ourselves in making things easy, especially when coordinating a fun and unique experience for families or groups of children. 

Free Summer Movies 

Summer break doesn't have to be boring ~ and with these record breaking summer tempuratures in Yuma, we have the ultimate program to keep you cool and have fun at the same time. Free Summer Movies are available starting at the end of the school year in Yuma, and end before the beginning of the fall semester. 

No reservations are required, and seats are first come, first served. We encourage you all to swing by when our doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime to save your seats, get refreshments and snacks, and relax for the feature film!

Free Winter Movies 

Winter break for some military families can be tough - but we want to help bring you together. We offer fun winter movies at no cost to our authorized patrons, starting in December of each year and ending in January of the following year. 

No reservations are required at this time, and seats are first come, first served. Come on in at least 30 minutes prior to showtime to save your seats, get refreshments and snacks at the concession stand, and relax!
